Today ranks as one of my favorite holidays of the whole year – Ben & Jerry’s Free Cone Day! Have you celebrated today? It always reminds me of when I used to go Black Friday shopping, minus the sleep deprivation. You stand in some crazy long line, hyped up with anticipation and the people all around you buzzing because you know you’re headed toward splurging on something you don’t really need! So fun!
When it comes to sweets, some people will tell you not to deprive yourself – indulge every once in a while. My advice is to indulge on free cone day because when you finish your two tiny scoops there isn’t the remainder of the pint taunting you from the freezer.
The Ben & Jerry’s near my office always collects donations for a charity on Free Cone Day, and today’s was F___ Cancer. Notice how I edited that out for you fine people. The people at B&J were not so nice and now there are small leaflets all around my office with F bombs on them. And I think one of our new agencies is in visiting today. That’s fantastic.
